A portfolio answers the question a recruiter asks. A personal website answers a better one: why would someone curious about me want to wander around here for twenty minutes?
So this site is organized like my head, not like a CV. Think is what I am figuring out. Build is what I am making. Read is what is coming at me and what I decided to keep. Live is what currently has my attention.
The design is boring on purpose. The behavior is where the personality lives: a Surprise Me button, keyboard shortcuts, a changelog that is actually fun to read. Static content, dynamic atmosphere.
Over time the interesting pages will be the ones that evolve: beliefs I hold and might be wrong about, things I changed my mind about, links that map five years of curiosity. That is the point. Not a profile — a record.
